I just noticed that in Manchester's first game this year against Providence he fought a VERY respected and HUGE heavyweight Steve MacIntyre which I think speaks volumes about his character. He seems like he's pretty ready for full time duty in the NHL so although this season has been a disaster there are at least some bright spots to look for! I guess what got me so excited seeing this is that if he would have been on the ice when Phaneuf pulled that bs with Aubin at the end of the game that he would without hesitation skated up to a much tougher player and defended Aubin's honor even knowing what the probable result would be.
Ive wanted to bring this up for a while. Why no props to Moulson? He's clearly been the best of any Manchester call up this year and doesn't seem to have a problem getting the puck in the net.
Some quick comparisons:
Handzus GP53 G5 A9 Pts14
Calder GP45 G6 A9 Pts15
Moulson GP16 G5 A2 Pts7
While neither of these 3 players stats are mindblowing, it is clear thus far that Moulson's point per game production is higher than the above two players. Why not keep Moulson in the big leagues and let him show what he's got? He's proven more at this point than any other Manchester call ups, and even some of the pros. Why not ?

although i too am happy with moulson's play and it is clear that he can get the puck to the net better than some on the team, i think his play away from the puck is weaker than handzus or calder. while its true that handzus hasnt produced to expectations, his work on the pk, and on the defensive side of the puck have been really good. also, he has been playing a lot better as of late. calder also does a lot away from the puck, is a hard worker and can make things happen even if it isn't on the score sheet.
