About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Former King... now duck.... George Parros.
I thought this picture was hilarious...
Caption it, photoshop it, flame away... you know what to do.
you can move it into the NHL
I liked to bag on George...until he cut his hair for "locks of love" or another organziation for wigs for kids with cancer. now I have nothing but love for the man.
of course, some kids getting that stank ass hair...well, poor kid. heh
Parros is cool...even though hes on the Ducks hes a good guy and anyone who saw his development from the Kings rookie camp to what he is today should applaud the work and dedication hes puit into his profession.
Say what you will about Parros - he had more fights in the first 2 months of the season than Ivanans has had all year AND he took Ivanans best shot and didn't go down. He's no Probert or anything, but he's always willing to go - and I miss a guy like that on the Kings.
Another thing that I like about Parros is the fact that he doesn't do anything dirty or cheap as a fighter. He lets up when his opponent is down (I remember that Dallas game at home when he was playing for the Kings, and destroyed Erskine, I believe) or injured (for example, held up with Cam Janssen suffered a shoulder injury). In fact, he lets up even when the other fighter is at a serious disadvantage (even in Parros' latest fight with Ivanans, when Parros had Ivanans' jersey over his head, Parros could've thrown a couple more as the refs were coming in, but didn't).
