Yeesh, give the guy a chance. I thought he played well with great confidence, especially for his first NHL start. I see a lot of potential in him. He's not a young kid getting his feet wet, he's 25. He was the #1 goalie in the Swedish Elite league. I really think he's got a chance to go far in the NHL.
I'll be pissed if we don't extend Ersberg - he's looked very, very good.
I agree he was very good last night and deserves some more looks, just not this year when the Kings are so close to that #1 pick. I am officially upgrading DC to "basketball". I honestly think he can stop a beachball and we'll see how he does with this new upgrade. Extending the contract on Ersberg based on 1 very good showing is insane. But I suggest that MC only starts him from now on in the 2nd game of back to back games since we need to find out if DC can stop a "basketball". Ersberg will now be named "volleyball" until his next start.

My question is where does Bernier fit in? IF LaBabs is our starter and Cloutier gets bought out who would be a better fit to tend net in manchester & who will backup LaBabs?
