He hasn't proven anything yet. But I really like his quickness and how calm he is. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more of him and hopefully the Kings pay more attention to him so he doesn't end up as another Huet.

I think you may have heard him say it was his first NHL START.

He cleaned up for Cloutier in that big comeback game against Chicago but lost it in OT on Sharp's goal.

Yeesh, give the guy a chance. I thought he played well with great confidence, especially for his first NHL start. I see a lot of potential in him. He's not a young kid getting his feet wet, he's 25. He was the #1 goalie in the Swedish Elite league. I really think he's got a chance to go far in the NHL.

I agree he was very good last night and deserves some more looks, just not this year when the Kings are so close to that #1 pick. I am officially upgrading DC to "basketball". I honestly think he can stop a beachball and we'll see how he does with this new upgrade. Extending the contract on Ersberg based on 1 very good showing is insane. But I suggest that MC only starts him from now on in the 2nd game of back to back games since we need to find out if DC can stop a "basketball". Ersberg will now be named "volleyball" until his next start.
