I'm a little late on this one but I would also like to see Matt dance again on a regular basis. The thing about Matt as opposed to the sweaty t-shirt guy or the trashcan drummers is that Matt is REAL. That's kind of scary when you think of it, but God bless him for having the balls to do this **** just because he's either a little nuts or drunk or both. Was it just me or did his dancing always seem to occur at the most crucial times in some of the most crucial games over the last several years? (Many with excellent endings for the Kings.)

During the Stunner at Staples, everyone was moping and depressed - The song always came on about the 5 minute mark of the 3rd period and I was DREADING that dance.
But with 6:07 left, of all people, Scott Thomas scored a goal. That at least made us uncross our arms.
By the time the 5 minute mark rolled around, we were starting to get fired up - without a doubt, it was my single best "dance" ever and the place went nuts. I mean NUTS.
When Lapointe took another penalty and Stumpy scored a minutes later, I've never heard it so loud.
The rest was history and many, many people bought me beers, drinks, etc for that dance.
I can't say it WAS me, but I'd like to believe I certainly contributed. Fans DO make a difference.
Are the kings paying ''rental fan''? I thought he was just some whacko nut case. However, we are talking about the kings here and it would make perfect sense that they would pay this character and not o'sullivan.
Bring back Dancing Boy.. and the guy who perspired a lot and through his tee shirts at people.. classic

Armstrong is making a whopping $1,500,000 a year; hardly much in today's NHL. He plays hard, works hard and I will always remain of the belief that those who don't like Armstrong has more to do with what the Kings lack over what is wrong with him in particular. It is not his fault that the Kings lack a #2 center. The second anyone else earns that spot, he goes down the depth chart immediately.

Rental Man is paid by Westside Rentals - I had seen an add that they were looking for the new rental man and it paid 60k with benefits & tickets to all major sporting events in LA.

Yikes!! $60k for that... That salary makes about as much sense as the Wild looking for a mascot who has a college degree... See the ad:
since the \"retirement\" the la kings organization has fallen into a downward spiral and the only clear and obvious answer to this trend is the lack of dancing boy's wicked moves on the diamond vision.
Cbgb, you are the reason we haven't seen success! We need you back................remember those days when the whole sc would stand and celebrate those crazy dance moves!
I call dancing boy to make his illustrious return in the grand garden arena in las vegas for frozen fury and to keep the tradition alive for the 2008-2009 season!

Though I respect your opinion, I don't care where he is on the depth chart the man has missed more open nets, had more neutral zone turnovers and just overall frustrated me with his play then I would appreciate out of a "veteran". I play hard, work hard but I still am expected to get my job done.
and now a banana smoking a joint wearing a clown wig ... enjoy

That is fair enough. He spent the first part of the year pressing no doubt since it took him what seemed like forever to score his 1st of the year. I just have to wonder if he wasn't on the PP, was played only as a 3rd or 4th line energy guy if as many people would have disliked him as much as many did. To be fair, I will admit my own bias - I am a fan of his.

No way. The ushers were all over him all the time.
