If you factor in the hits, DB is a slam dunk. But we all know the All Star game is not about hitting, its about popularity. So Perry will probably get in before DB.
it'll probably be an Av's player...in 1980, Butch Goring replaced an injured Charlie Simmer for the All-Star game..I think there are other examples of this but I can't remember them right off the top of my head.
