Never thought I'd say this to you but...I couldn't agree more. I don't know why he seemed to get a free pass from all the hockey experts either. I thought sure after the playoffs something would be made public about an injury or something, but no.
I heard Heatley and others get their share of criticism, but not Spezza. And in my opinion he was flat out horrible. Forget his lack of scoring, he had no effort and consistently turned the puck over and lead to duck goals numerous times.
He sucked! I am hoping for more for O'Sully!

I COMPLETELY disagree with this. I think he's great no matter what role he's placed in. PK, forechecking....he's like the Energizer Bunny.
Sort of related, something that I've noticed with our top 5 forwards (Kopitar, Brown, Frolov, Cammy, O'Sullivan) is that they seem to be completely interchangeable, and still dominant. In other words, you can pick any three of them from a hat and you'll have a great line. None of this "Army needs to play with Luc," "Palffy needs to play with Allison," "Conroy needs to play with Demitra" crap. They all seem to have great ch
