The Kings have earned nine points (4-2-1) so far on this eight-game road trip. That’s a club record for most points accumulated in an eight-game trek. The previous high was eight points (4-4-0) in 1978-99. The nine points earned so far on this trip is tied for the second most in club history for one road trip overall. The Kings earned 12 points (6-1-0) on a seven-game road trip in 1974-75 and nine points (4-2-1) on a seven-game trip in 1991-92.

Terrific, now that these wins don't mean ***** the Kings are playing terrific. Lets party! And all you people who are excited that these wins will translate into next season and would love to see the Kings go on crazy winning streak and finish 10th in the west for the 11th overall pick, save your breath. Now is the time to lose (hence Cloutier) and the Kings can't even do that right.
