Join me in contacting AEG now to head off the inevitable advertisements to come to the Staples Center boards. Those lit up boards that Phoenix and Dallas have are such a distraction when trying to watch the games in person or on television.

Let's try to beat AEG to the punch and start a campaign against these boards BEFORE they're installed on our home ice.

Send an email to guestservices@staplescenter.com and request that these are never installed on the Kings home ice.

I don't think it's our place to ask them to remove the advertisments. Businesses pay alot of money to get their name out there and one of the ways to advertise is to put them on the boards in hockey rinks. That's like saying let's call tv channels and have them do away with commercials. Deal with it people!

Just watch, 5-10 years from now. All the ads will be flashing in neon lights.

The teams that seem to have the glowing ads (it's what I call it)... are Phoenix, Dallas, and the Isles I believe.

I won't be surprised if there are 5 more I didn't name =x

Phoenix started this crap first I think, they had it for 2-3 season already. This is Dallas's first year doing it.

I was in Dallas today and the only time I noticed them was during an intermission when I was bored and they were showing some dude catch grapes in his mouth on the jumbotron. Didn't even notice them afterwards.
