I dont know how sites comes up with their draft projections. I love it in the first two rounds we pick:

Round 1
Center Steven Stamkos (woohoo BTW), Goalie Robert Mayer

Round 2
Another Goalie Jacob Markstrom, Left Wing Geordie Wudrick, Center Corey Trivino

So a quick recap
2 Centers, 2 Goalies, 1 Left Winger

So I guess this draft is so deep in D that we arent going to even draft one until the 4th Round? It also still shows Detroit holding their 2nd Round pick. And we need to draft 2 more goalies that early because our goalie prospects Bernier, Zatkoff, Taylor, Quick are so bad, ridiculous. Theres no way DL is going to hold all those 2nd rounders. We will be trading at least one or more to move up or hopefully package in a trade for a roster player.

I like how you point out how ridiculous their mock draft is and then proceed to report matter-of-fact that there WILL be a trade to move up and we won't keep 2nd rounders in a very deep draft.

I want to see DL stockpile so many picks that he just selects all the goalies, every year. Then he's got 29 franchises and all their minor league affiliates by the balls! You need a goalie? Yeah, that'll be your top d-man and five picks. Nope, final offer.

I was stating that because it is way more plausible then us drafting 2 goalies in the first two rounds when we have a BIG need on D. I think most people try to trade up if they have the assets or means to do it. And with 3 second rounders.....yeah. Take it with a grain a salt buddy.

That mock turtle of a draft leaves little to be desired... No freaking defensemen until the 4th round...that idiot must have been on crack to make up that list...

I'm still on the fence between Pietrangelo and Stamkos with our first (overall) pick...and the worst thing is that I still like what Filatov has to offer in lines of skill...but that @#$%ing transfer agreement will drop him down no lower than #5...

If Del Zotto falls to us later on in the round...GRAB HIM!!!

The second round is up for grabs...but if we do get Tikhonov there or later...it would still be a year late from where I predicted him to be drafted...but welcome...
