The NHL is making everything less fun now. I read the other day that they're taking originality out of uniforms next season, or at least they want to. No more Gretzky or Jagr type jersey tucks. No more neon green laces a la Ovechkin. This would have been better 20 years ago so they could have outlawed mullets. All mullets except for Melrose of course.
man this sucks, does this mean ALL of the NHL stuff, like, even the old time bure/jagr/gretzky highlights? i enjoyed watching stuff like that :( over half my favorites are hockey.
This article was written more than a year ago ( February 20, 2007 ) and it just states that the use of embedding videos was the problem. It seems to have been solved. Although i not sure why you got a notice Beerman, yet after looking around the web, i have yet to find anyone else getting the same notice (myself included). Kind of strange.
Well I for one can't watch that Brown vs Klesla vs Svitov clip in the UK.
I suppose of course with all the massive coverage of hockey we get in the UK they don't need to expand their market at all by letting people watch low quality clips of games online over here..............

I didn't get anything. But maybe I have an explanation. NHL doesn't want to remove the content. They were just looking for content that really interests them and get many hits. They can then use this video (and space on the page where video is running (that's why no embedding is allowed)) for their commercials. I think they actually share the profits of commercials on that video site with the google. IMO opinion this just means that Beerman has a video for which they think can be potentially profitable. Link to the video?
