Yeah, Theoren Fleury is too short to lead his team to the Stanley Cup!
WTF? Fleury LED his team to the Stanley Cup? He was a goddamn rookie, on a fairly veteran team. Joey Mullen and Al Macginnis led them to that Stanley Cup. With a stellar supporting cast. Fleury was just along for the ride. How many more cups did he win? ZERO!!!!
You were still buried in drugs and gambling on football back then to remember, so go to Ebay and buy the Flames Cup Championship tapes for $1.

That team had Gilmour, Nieuwendyk and Otto up the middle, with MacInnis and Lanny MacDonald's moustache for good measure...
That was an absolutely brilliantly built team end to end, And the Kings beat almost the same team the following playoff season when Krushelnyski chipped a puck over Vernon in to win game 6.
ORLY? All I remember about Blake when he was here was people complaining about him falling down all the time. Blake sucks, blah blah blah, trade him blah, blah, blah.
This is part of the line of thinking that has seen us become a perennial loser. Kings fans are far to impatient. Every player who isn't perfect or fully developed should be traded...
But then again, you know all about this already being the leader of the "trade Brown" fanclub.
