About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. He said "The Kings are Lousy, this 3 game win-streak means nothing, but good for them it's a strong draft coming up!"
Actually, he said, "Don't be fooled. They beat Edmonton, they beat Dallas (who were kind of dopey), and they beat Toronto, so... they're still a lousy team, but good for them. They're a lousy team, and they'll get a high draft pick."
True or not, this coming from the guy who sent the Islanders into the toilet. I'm not going to take anything he says personally. He's a moron.

GO KINGS GO!!!
Amen...Milbury is a fool and a tool and you're right he is a moron.
What he meant to say was that the Kings are as good as he was a GM.
And, he also meant to say that if he had his hands on such a high 1st round pick he would either: (a) trade it away for terrible veterans at an inappropriate time or (b) he would draft the worst player possible with it.
General Manager Mike Milbury sent Luongo, a 20-year-old who is considered by many to be the best player in the world for his age group, and forward Olli Jokinen to the Florida Panthers for forwards Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha.
The New York Islanders . . . pulled the trigger on the first blockbuster of the day, acquiring Alexei Yashin from the Ottawa Senators. The Sens receive towering defenceman Zdeno Chara, forward Bill Muckalt and, most significantly, the Islanders' first-round draft pick - second overall - which they used to select the most highly-touted North American prospect in the draft, forward Jason Spezza of the OHL's Windsor Spitfires.
. . . the Islanders today traded (Bryan) McCabe, the team's 22-year-old captain, and (Todd) Bertuzzi, a 23-year-old underachiever, along with a 1998 third-round draft pick, to the Vancouver Canucks. In exchange, the Islanders received Trevor Linden, the marquee forward General Manager Mike Milbury had sought for months.
Isn't it funny that someone his age would say something that stupid. The Calgary Flames broadcasters suck so hard. One thing I can say about watching the other teams broadcast on Center Ice, Canadian broadcasts are NERDY NERDY NERDY. CORNY CORNY CORNY.
