Next Year next next Year Not. NEVER!!!! Get it NEVER. For Leafs maybe 4 years to come for them to win Lord Stanley.
This was in response to me telling him that not only will the Leafs be finishing out of the playoffs and currently sitting in 13th place, but will be sharing a tee time with the Kings.
I also brought up 1967 when there were only 6 teams and that his team has yet to make the final since.

Well then maybe in 2049 when the NHL has to start retracting teams and there are only 6 teams left in the NHL, the Leafs will have a shot at winning the Cup again
His was a little different, just the sentence toward the end. Which made it even more stupid:
