Having your team in a playoff race is intoxicating, but losing out at the end has never been more devastating. Narrowly missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs has become the worst thing that can happen to a franchise. (Next to being owned by a pension fund.)

One thing you can say about thes NEW Kings is that they are not mediocre, they SUCK. This is what it takes to get the players needed to be successful and DL spelled it out when he came in. So us being in last place is a hell of a lot better than being like the Leafs and deciding to make a run at the playoffs and then missing it.

WE ARE THE WORST TEAM! YAY!
