Sucks to get laid off, but Kredell sucked. He editorialized when his hockey knowledge was very limited & it made his blog unreadable IMO. But then again unless Hammond is brought back full time the blog will remian unreadable.

Yes because nobody knows Hockey or the Kings except for Hammond. Novels are unreadable and will continue to be unreadable unless Hemingway is brought back.
Sometimes companies throw out the trash under the guise of a layoff. If you think that ability doesn't factor into these decisions then well I don't know what to tell you. If they thought they had the next Jim Murray on their hands then I think they would have found some room for him. Just sayin...
