Alright, that is a huge exaggeration, but dammit, Ellis was an absolute beast tonight.
Shift in and shift out he made the right play at the right time - winning battles, sacrificing his body, aggressive penalty killing, tight point coverage... Reminds me of Bylsma with good wheels.
I can't remember ever being so impressed with a Kings' 4th liner.

Ellis is awesome. I've lost count at how many times he knocked the puck out of the zone and back towards center ice. This guy so far has shown that he can read the passes and break up the play. Add that with Ersberg who doesn't give up much rebounds... it's a recipe for success.
