So long, Mike!

Hrm, I thought his teammates were going to hate him for "not backing up" his hits.
The Following User Says Thank You to Bandit For This Useful Post:
I think Tommy Preissing is going to be okay. Peter Harold has shown that he has the ability to step in and give us some quality play. And hopefully we’ll be active in both the draft, with the possibility of a guy being ready to play right away, and some of our previous picks being closer to play. I think that is maybe a good area for free agency where someone is going to be able to come in and be exactly what we need.
He talked about the bad stretch in December.
It lasted longer than just December and it wasn't just because of losing LaBarbera.
LaBarbera was hurt on Dec. 2nd.
From November 15th to December 26th, the Kings were 4-16-1.
Horrible
Prior to that, they were 6-2-1, and before that 2-6-0.
They had a good run from Dec. 29th to Feb 15th, going 13-8-1.
They then went 1-5-2 before finishing the last 14 going 6-6-2.
Streaky.
Maybe with a more stable blueline, a decent goalie tandem (If either goalie goes down to injury, the other can step up), and the continued growth of the core, they won't be as streaky next season.
...the influx of "4 or 5" youngsters from Manchester brings with it a lot of unknowns, though.
