Yeah, fans like KingsCourt26 are the reason... Right... Grab a clue buddy; did he ever say trade Sully for Parrish? Has anyone ever said that, or did you just dream up a random stupid trade in your head, and then attribute it to some one to try and validate your lame point? I think I know the answer to that one. Maybe it's the fans in LA that will still buy tickets to see a team in an endless rebuild that's the real problem.
Why do DL nut swingers always have to think that anyone who 'questions the plan' immediately wants DL fired and every youngster traded for useless vets? Don't worry guys, no one is saying that DL has to go just yet, but it would be nice of some progress was made in the win column. That would inspire a little more faith than just the joy of watching 'the kids' play around out there while we dream of future draft picks... Oh yeah, and DL skeptics don't have to worry about acquiring useless vets, DL has that part covered.
All I'm saying is that it doesn't have to be all one way or the other. The Kings were never meant to suck this bad, yet they do. If they were, why didn't DL just spend to the salary floor and use mainly AHL players? His FA additions haven't panned out, and it bears mentioning that fact to those who keep the faith blindly.
Has a Lombardi team ever won the Cup, or is advancing to the 2nd round the end game in the master plan? Either way, your point is weaker than a Purcell bodycheck. Lay off the Kool-aid, it's making your mouth red. Either than or DL's got a crimson pair of hairy swingers.
DL has done more for this organization than people realize. I'm not sure why people bash him, is it because he doesn't make a panic trade to "push" for the 8th and final playoff spot? Patience is key and we are not even to our 3rd season under DL, settle down. I have more faith in what DL is doing than any other time as a Kings fan, this is how you build for long term success. I'm sure the bashers compare our situation to the Flyers, ya know the team that finished 30th a year ago? They had a ton of young talented players in the system and a bunch of older assets to move. We are not done stockpiling the system and don't have much to deal. Do you honestly think Cammalleri has much value? Get real.......
