I'm sure this post will end up pissing some folks off...but all the more reason to post it. But being a child of the 70/80's and having been through many a dismal Kings season, I figured I'd mix my chocolate with your peanut butter and my School House Rock with the fact that about the only thing we're competing for at this point is ping pong balls on lottery day.

So today...11 is a magic number.

Magic numbers:

10 - number of points it will take for Toronto to be eliminated from FIFTH place so they have no shot at winning the lottery for Stamkos.

9 - number of points it will take for Edmonton to be eliminated from worst record, thus giving the Ducks LESS of a chance at acquiring Stamkos

8 - the number of points I want the Kings to get for the rest of the season

7 - the Number someone else will be wearing next season instead of Armstrong
