Luc is going to be Team Canada Assistant GM. Sounds like he is looking for more than business experience on
Um, you do realize that Luc became a U.S. citizen and will be helping to develop a team that will be playing against the U.S team? If it were the U.S. team he's the assisstant GM of then I'd be happy, but not this. I'm going to support the team of the country of which I'm a citizen. He chose this citizenship and should support this country's teams, not its opponents.

Although I will root for the US team, this is a great opportunity and experience for Luc. I don't see this move as anything but positive and a chance for DL to see what Luc is capable of. Any time King personell gets elected to extra cirricular activities, such as this, is just builds experience and confidence within the organization.
Assistant GM is a business position. GM's do more than just make trades, they run a lot of the aspects of a hockey club. Good for Luc!
Not really, and in this case there's not much business. It's a national team's assistant GM, not a club. There's not much to do business wise for a national team.
And I never EVER want Luc as a GM or in any player personnel position with the Kings. Especially not over Hextall. That is ludicrous and would likely result in a retarded power struggle.
