Too bad the Kings had to give him as compensation for the Free Agent signing of Dionne. I guess someone had to pay for the Hang'in.
By the way, all of you newbies need to get a clue. The GREATEST King ever was...that's right...defenseman Rob Palmer. There wasn't a player in the league he didn't leave wide open in front of the net. The King of Pylons and an all-time great.

Laugh if you want.
I played summer hockey with Rob and others 85-90. Rob was actually left handed and played that way for years as a kid until his dad or coach taught him to play righthanded. It was done because not many right handed defenseman were around. They figured it was the quickest way to the NHL.
Many of the mistakes Rob made on the ice were because his natural reaction was as a lefty and turned the wrong way and tried to do too much on the backhand because it was more natural.
I remember one time Hrudey was on a hot streak, but he injured his ribs, and Prime Ticket did a story about it and the graphic said: "Hred Hot Hrudey's Hribs"
Still to this day me and my brother refer to him as "Hred Hot Hrudey"
And as for that list... it needs MARTY! MARTY! MARTY! Damn those chants were the best...
What about Tomas Sandstrom...he had a good cup run in 1993. Bob Kudelski..great mullet....Alexi Zhitnik...great hip checker ( remember the one on Foligno in 1993 ).......Stumpel had his moments
I had no IDEA Dougie Smith broke his neck and was paralyzed from the neck down. WOW. Does anyone know more about him other than what was written on his bio?

How does it take 3 pages in to get to Marty McSorley? Seriously! He's the original MF-man!
