the only DL move i'm unhappy about is his not having sat Ivanans and called up Westgarth to keep the peace until Ivanans could skate without a visor again...and while that's an easy call to make in hindsight, this is the Pacific Division.

From the vids I've seen, Westgarth seems to be a human punching bag in the 'A'. I'm not a big Ivanans fan, but he is capable of playing the body and and I don't cringe when he's on the ice (well, except when he's in the offensive zone ).

Can't say that I recall a single instance during that "no fighting for Ivanans" stretch where I thought that we really NEEDED an enforcer in the lineup.

Good Call. I had forgotten about that. I agree with you about the decision. Other than that the only move I would question is having Klemm play for the Kings for the rest of the season. I know DL explained it all and how he wants the kids down there toughing it out, learning to win, and hungering for a promotion; but I don't like how he threw all the kids in a basket to compete for a playoff race in Manchester and then took away their primary veteran. I think they should leave Klemm in Manchester to help with the playoff push and call someone else up that we haven't seen as much or at all yet. I would really like to see Tukonen again before the season is up to gauge him against NHL competition once more.

I'm not sure if westgarth has the necessary basic skills to skate a few shifts to not be a liability in the NHL yet
