Says Kopitar is not special. I guess being a leading scorer on team doesn't mean much to DL.
Remember he said the same thing about Cammy. Scoring 30 goals on a losing team is different than scoring goals on a winning team.
I guess he hasn't paid his dues yet.
Seems to me, DL was correct about Cammy. What did Cammy do before he went down hurt? Outside of October...not too much...what has he done since he came back? Not too much.
Cammy has put together ONE, count that, ONE good season...he has not earned a thing yet.
Kopitar on the other hand, I do disagree with him on...he is the future of this club, and he needs to be treated as such.

He had 15 goals. You can't tell me he would not have scored at least 30 goals this year if he hadn't gone down for 17 games.
I don't know what people want from this kid. If he shoots, he selfish, if he passes or shanks a shot, he's expendable, if he has the nerve to ask for market value, he's greedy. BTW, it was DL doing all the talking up to arbitration. Other than stating they haven't responded or contacted him, Cammy kept his mouth shut.

This has the makings of atrue fued devloping between DL and Kopitar and I will be damned if I just sit back and let you quell this thing on page 2. This could turn into 10 pages of absolute outrage, so just back off.

no, I don't misunderstand anything. It's just gotten pretty damned old, pictures with stamkos written all over then. Sounds like I stepped on a few toes there. Sorry, but I speak the truth. I imagine a lot of others are getting pretty sick of them too.
What does a joke you're tired about have to do about whether or not DL will draft Stamkos because he's a forward?
