I bet he has a plan to some how get that 1st overall pick with the draft picks we have in hand plus maybe an expendable player (Cammy) or 2 with what ever team may end up with that pick.

I am sure if we do not win the lottery, he will give up on the idea of Stamkos in a Kings jersey in a hurry and focus on the defensive prospects and the King's holes in the lineup. If anything he is looking to trade up for another defensive prospect or acquire an already drafted prospect/young player by trading some picks and a player or two. It will be very interesting to see what Dean does. He has been known to make moves but he has been very quiet since taking the King's GM job, this draft will be huge. Can't wait.
