This is indeed a tank move, plain and simple.

Same reason Boyle was sent down. He was scoring goals and that could lead to wins. DL said "that we want Boyle to work on helping Manchester in the playoff run and learn about winning...that is something that is not happening in LA right now. (or something like that) Gimme a break. Boyle was good in all of his games with the Kings and there was no reason to send him down.

DL tried to solidify our #30 status with the pre-mature callup of Cloutier and it backfired. Dan actually played very well. Dan was only healthy for about a week in Manch and gets called up. That was crazy. I'm serious. DL said at the start of the year, that Dan would have to play his way back, by playing a lot and getting his game back. So, he's healthy for about a week, played 1 or 2 decent games in Manch and gets called up!?!?

And now Ersberg?

I bet next we'll see Blake and Stuart traded and a defense of: Harrold, Vis, JJ, Dallman, Preissing and Piskula the rest of the way! This will keep TB, Edmonton, and Toronto off of oour heels!

Don't fire Crawford YET. If we fire him, we may get a coach that could elevate this team to 20th overall in the league...and we'd be screwed in the draft again. Let's take full advantage of Crawford's ability to get us Stamkos!!
