He was pretty dominant the few seasons we were at our prime. He may not have had a dominant career but he was certainly the last Franchise goaltender to ever grace our ranks.

Yes, I'd say he was our last franchise goalie but still, he was never dominant. Look at his numbers. His best seasons aren't very spectacular.

he was neither dominant nor a franchise goaltender... he happened to be the dominant goaltender of the franchise at the time.
I cut Hrudey some slack. The poor guy got SHELLED every night. He was like the goalie in Slap Shot, stumbling into the lockerroom between periods. He wasn't the best, but he did OK for having like 85 shots against him every night.

He was a franchise goaltender while he was here. And when did I say he was a dominant goaltender outside of the Kings? You just repeated exactly what I said in the first place, I said that he was dominant in his own right and followed up that I meant while he was here which is what this topic was all about... Kings goaltenders... Hrudey was the last dominant King's goaltender and he was only dominant for the few seasons in the early 90's. I didn't say he had a career of dominance.
And you are right... He did dominate the blue hanky :P
Hrudey wasn't dominant at anything besides his sweat headband.
Really, Hrudey? *gag*
He was one of our better goalies I suppose, but to think any other team would want him, or he would make any kind of all time goalie list is a bit absurd.
He wasn't an all-time goalie >.< he had a **** career and was never the best but on the Kings behind that defense and one of the best offenses in the league, he was pretty damned good the seasons he was here. Good enough to get closer to the cup than any other Kings goaltender of all time. That is my point.

i didn't repeat ANYTHING you said.
you used dominant to describe his play. i used it to describe his location on the depth chart.
