About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. If Detroit wanted Blake before, they may really want him now.

Niklas Kronwall was injured in tonight's game against Phoenix, a shoulder injury.
Right now, I don't think anyone knows the actual extent of the injury or long he'll be out, though the thread above says it's a possible separation and that's he's out indefinitely.
Maybe Detroit's interest in Blake has been further piqued.
Maybe a bidding war will start between them and the Rangers.
Maybe one gets Blake, the other gets the consolation prize in Stuart.

I saw the hit and it did not look good at all. However the Detroit announcers said that it might be an elbow injury which wouldnt be quite as serious as a shoulder. I hope that DL is on the phone asking for Grigorenko. Id take that kid and a pick for Blake to wear the Red Wheel.
I really wouldn't mind if Blake were to be traded, but I think Stuart, and Priessing for that matter, should remain Kings. Even if they have had sub-par years, I believe we would regret sending either of the latter two to another team.

Yeah, I agree. Stuart and D-Lomb are probably good friends, so they could get n agreement between them...

Anaheim has Niedermayer and Selanne taking half the year off to circumvent the cap, the Kings will have Stuart signing one-year contracts, traded at the deadline in bad years, then signing back with the Kings in the off-season in order to accumulate resources.
