I sit in 218. Looks like mine are increasing to $46.50 from $42.50. I don't understand how they can justify that. I have to find out who my new ticket rep is. Are they wanting the commitment before July 1 like they did last year? If so, that would be another dick move.
Die Hards: $12.00 --> $11.00 Section 333 & 334 (Last 5 Rows. Now All You Can Eat Section): $23.50 --> $32.00
---------------------------------
So basically...
The lower levels have increases of up to 2-4 bucks per seat.
The upper levels have increases of up to 1-2 bucks per seat.
Die hards went down by 1 buck per seat.
Last 5 rows in the upper/center sections went down by 5 bucks per seat.
Except the All You Can Eat Section, in which those seats technically went up by $8.50. But I think the All You Can Eat seats used to be 35 bucks each seat unless I'm wrong. But if I'm right, then it technically went down by 3 bucks.
What's the parking situation though? The lots that are further down from Staples shot up from 5 bucks to 7 bucks (most of them that I know) near the end of the season. Will beer and food prices shoot up some more?
Either way, thanks a ton for the details RR. Much appreciated!
Recession around the corner (Fed drops rates to just 2% and say they're not dropping any more)
Crappy team
Don't get Stamkos, instead some defender
Price increase
What the hell, it's just like marriage. As the years go on, you pay more and get a lot less.
At least I can sell the Anze jersey on eBay for a couple of hundred.
Next year there is SO much to look forward to! Brian Boyle! Purcell! Whichever d-man we draft who will be "learning on the job" - The 4 million we'll pay for Rob Blake - Lousy defense! Crappy coach!
Explain to me how the Flyers are one game from doing what the Kings haven't done since 1993, and they were the worst team in the league last year and didn't even have to rely on their draft pick Van Rymsdyk.
Gas, even with a Prius, is still a buck every 10 miles. Staples is 40 miles away, so that's 8 bucks round trip times 43 games = $344.00. Plus you cant even park anywhere anymore so you're forced to spend around 7 bucks per game = $301.00.
Of course, I have to have at least TWO Bass Ale's at the Fox Sports Bar AND gotta have the wings = $9.00 per beer X 2 X 43 (=$774.00) plus 12 for the wings(=$516.00) plus 15% tip ($516+$774= $1,290 AT 15% = 193.50)
MY ENTERTAINMENT - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $8,965.50
(this does not include a THIRD Bass Ale nor does it include the beers I happily buy for Rinkrat)
I can't WAIT to shell out 9 grand for this crap. 9 grand. I can't even think of better things to do with the money, like education for my son,or a jungle gym, or a money market fund, or bet on the Lakers, or a trip to Vegas with incredible hookers, or a trip to Prague to watch the NHL at the start of next year, or buy a used Camaro, or pave my driveway with 9 million pennies, or start a small business venture, or buy delicious wine that makes you feel good after spending 3 hours with it...
I just think I'd really miss out on watching Ellis, Zeiler and Armstrong killing penalties.

So what that they are giving away a jersey, there is still no reason to justify a price increase when we are a crap team that rarely sells out the arena anymore. It's just yet another way to alienate the fans. Figures!
I just realized that I now have the exact same number of posts that Dave Taylor played games for the Kings. Yipee!

hey Matt,
I've got your solution. Stop drinking at the Fox Sports bar... you can bring drinks from home and get loaded in the parking lot. Second of all, nobody's telling you to sit in the 100's. Try sitting in the 300's where the real fans sit (no offense to some of the real fans that sit in the 100's). You'll save yourself at least $6,000 with my solution. You can thank me later
