About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. As much as I'd like to see the Kings finish with the worst record and get a reasonably good chance at SStamko.,I think I'd like to see
As much as I'd like to see the Kings finish with the worst record and get a reasonably good chance at SStamko.,I think I'd like to see some more effort and promise. The Kings got hammered against Calgary(01/18/08)after beating Edmonton a few nights earlier. The effort was pathetic on all fronts. The coaching was just as bad. Doesn't MCrawford see that putting PO'Sullivan with Kopitar and Brown makes them less effective because he(Sully)doesn't do anything superlative...meaning Cammy could score and Frolov could cycle, pass and score and Calder can...Calder should be on this line not freaking Sully he has no balls...He's a third line energy player to go with Brady Murray and Trevor Lewis. As for LNagy he looked terrible but then again so did most of the King's forwards and defense and "tenders. Outside of that the Kings were good if you know what I mean...And Teddy Purcell was no diamond in the rough just yet. I find it very perplexing that Lauri Tukonen has fallen so far that Purcell has overtaken him. Com
'on DLombardi get the **** out of your eyes it's clouding your judgement.Purcell needs to add 20 lbs of muscle to compete at the NHL level on a regular basis. And he needs to work on his skating he's too slow for the NHL. And Armstrong should find a new home he's awful and not more than a third, fourth line player on a bad team. And BStuart,TPreissing stunk as did Lubo and Blake. I friend of mine went to Calgary to take in the game. I decided I wouldn't go because the Kings haven't warranted me spending time and money to see their pathetic product. Not just yet anyways...It's hard to see the silver lining through all the mess. Of all the Kings I'd keep a handful maybe 6-7 no more. Let's see,Kopitar,Frolov,Brown,JJohnson,Cammy,Calder and...maybe Stuart though he didn't play very well last night.
PS Maybe it is time for some house cleaning in LA and they can start with the coach and some of his misfit players...

You'd keep Stuart, but not O'Sullivan? Wow, you need help.
'i didn't like the team's performance against calgary. many players underperformed, and as a consequence of that, i would trade, waive or not re-sign several of them. also, crawford should be fired."
So since, according to you, PO'sullivan has "no balls", the best thing to do would be to put him on the 3rd line where these "balls" are needed more? Fantastic.
As for LTukonen.... give it up already. The guys not going to make it. Not with the incredible reserve list that DLombardi has compiled in his short time here. Perhaps down the line he gets to see some games, but in no way do I expect LTukonen to be a fixture on the LAKings.
