Not bad.
Prediction . . . if Meckler
this is my first post here although I've been reading the boards for a while now. I live in Seattle and in addition to being a long time fan of the Kings I've been a fan of the WHL Seattle Thunderbirds for about 20 years now. I'm a seson ticket holder and I'm even a member of the booster club. (In fact, it was my responsibility this past season to put together a season scrapbook for Bud Holloway and another player.) As a Tbirds fan I'm always happy when one of our guys gets picked up by the big leagues and I can't think of a player in recent years who has deserved it more than Bud. He's got excellent hockey skills and is a smart young man with a lot of determination and "heart".
As a Kings fan, I'm ecstatic. The Kings have a lot of talent on the team now and adding a player as talented as Holloway is only going to improve upon that.
add Oscar Moller to that list or does he not count because he can go back to Juniors?
Didn't count him because he's still Junior eligible, below the age of 20 to be allowed on the Monarchs AHL roster, and is not currently on the Kings pro roster. Also why Hickey and Simmonds aren't on there either.

Thanks, nice first post, and welcome to the board.

I tend to overlook the fact that the Kings pick up a lot of new fans when they sign these kids out of juniors - particularly fan favorites that it sounds like Hickey and Holloway have been. It's great to hear from people who see the prospects ever day.
