Without Brown and Frolov this year, the Kings would have scored 173 goals. That's 39 goals LESS than the devoid-of-offense Canucks. I'm sure the Kings' defense would have made up for that though right...?

The teams that end up winning are the complete ones, with good offense backed by good defense and finally good goaltending on nights when the **** hits the fan. In the Kings case, if we can get the defense fixed (not just the players, the coaching scheme as well), I think our goaltending is capable of carrying us into the playoffs.
Had the Kings really been in the Luongo sweepstakes as opposed to it merely being a press leak to have Dave Taylor try and save some face with the fans and be seen as "proactive" to improve the team and try to make the playoffs, and he had walked, and brown and frolov had been moved...
