Well, he's really stretching in thinking the Kings will get Doughty. It's very likely that we draft Doughty, but DL wouldn't give that kind of info away.
I've never seen one solid rumor from hockeybuzz actually materialize, unless it was already confirmed for sure. Usually 1 or 2 hours before a press conference. TSN has the information before hockeybuzz most of the time, and it is real information.
Hockeybuzz is strictly entertainment, that is all.
Just look at the rumor chart right now. It's filled with possibilities, all very unlikely to actually happen. What is a source anyway? My grandmother could be a source.
In two years when Frolov is gone and when Sully is offer sheeted away... talk to me then. I was just saying that LW was the only other weakness on our prospect chart. Center and RW are already fully stocked for many years to come.

A lot of people writing off Andy Strickland are probably not well-informed. He may be posting on Hockeybuzz, but he's not Eklund. Strickland has gained a reputation as being very connected to the Blues organization, so that rumor about Schenn probably has serious legs. How much insight he has into the Kings is debatable, but this "mere" blogger has a lot more credibility than most. It's good to be skeptical, but this guy has broken the news earliest about some NHL trades in the past.
lol.. Cammy could def return a top 10 pick.. top 5 is debatable.. however we need help now not in 3-4 years
How? His contract status would prevent a team from wanting to give up a potential franchise prospect. I would think the Kings would have to add the Dallas 1st at the very least to get another top 10. The Exelby and #3 for Cammy and Dallas 1st proposal I saw would be ideal but it's a dream.
