I think it's a little early to put JMFJ on this list, regardless of what he did in college. I can recall exactly 1 big hit this year. Brad Stuart has more big hits this season than Jack has.
The only problem with that stat is that it usually means the puck is in our zone more than the oppositions..now if is was separated into forechecking hits, that would be a worthwhile stat..
