About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Are games like tonight blacked out in LA even though there is no local coverage? I was considering adding it today.
If not.... turn on the radio, use your imagination and the 100 bucks you save could buy you several bottles of 40 where you can drink and forget about how bad the season has been.
Nope. Except, sometimes the other team's coverage of the game isn't carried by Center Ice. I have Dish and I checked ahead of time today... It's all good. And they'll def. be carrying TSN & CBC Friday and Saturday so looks like I won't miss any Kings game this week.
The only game I've missed so far is the Chicago game the day before New Years Eve that wasn't televised by anyone.

I was considering blowing the whole wad, buying CI and several bottles of 40. Somehow they don't look as bad that way.
when does the price drop usually occur, dont they drop the price about half way through the season?
Don't they also do a free preview again at the same time?
Yes, they do drop the price, in Canada at least. For a full season, it's $219 (sign up between Oct. 10th - Jan. 9th), for the half season (sign up Jan. 10th - Mar. 7th), it's $169, and for the playoffs (sign up Mar. 8th - Apr. 5th), it's $49.
But, that's Canada, don't know about the U.S. I'm sure they have a similar deal.
Edit: With Bell Expressvu, if you're a repeat customer, you get it for $199. This is the first year they've actually charged me for it. The last 2, I didn't have to pay anything. Just a screw up on Bell's part. Of course I didn't say anything.
