Hey guys, just in case you didn't see this buried in one of my posts last week. Here is a video containing all the goals the Kings scored during their 93 playoff run to the Stanley Cup Finals. I have yet to do the final round vs Montreal (haven't watched a game since we lost) Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for this. I love how Bob's voice is so passionate during each and every one of these goals. I hope to see him at TSC during prospects camp (He almost always goes).
My heart is pounding just watching that!! It was such an incredible playoff run and the memories are still fresh after 15 years. The Game 7 win in Toronto (on May 29th, 1993) is, IMHO, the greatest day in Kings history, with all due respect (and plenty of it), to the Miracle on Manchester.
I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but I watch this video and I just wonder, how, how in the world did the Kings not win in 92-93?
I remember at the time of "the stick" that Montreal was being accused of measuring player's sticks when the visitors were not in the locker room. LA had 3 tough series and if they had won out, I think, they would have been the only team to beat 4 Canadian teams to get the cup.
I miss play off hockey. I miss worrying about home ice advantage instead of best chance for #1 pick. I miss seeing hockey on the news as a lead off story.
