You touched him without permission and he didn't break your neck using just his thumb and forefinger? I miss all those quasi-superman stories about him pawning every living creature on Earth .... you know those stories; the ones that were rampant around here after his acquisition from the Hurricanes but before he set foot on SC ice and showed everyone he was <gulp> mortal.

I hardly believe he was bothered by the 10 second exchange. Some people ask for pictures, autographs, try to start up awkward conversation. I simply patted him on the back and said I was a fan.
I'm all for your naysaying and I know you don't like me, but this seems like a bit of a stretch to me.

As far as it being a stretch... you claim to not believe in bothering stars... well guess what Tinkerbell... you have no idea what bothers other people. If everybody that ever recognized a "celebrity" out in the big bad world went up and laid hands on them they would probably get a tad irked. In this instance it may not have bothered him in the slightest and he may have even appreciated it... but it's still inserting yourself into a complete strangers life for no good reason.

You may be right about bothering him... I have no idea the effect it had on him. It may be for "no good reason" too, but the Kings are a huge part of my livelihood (as sad as that may be or not) and Jack is one of the big pieces to our future. I'm a huge fan of the guy and didn't feel like telling him so would do more harm than good. I suppose it could have... hadn't really thought about it.

Please tell us that you are employed by the Kings .... otherwise, the sad part will be that an expensive USC education has fallen short of their obligations in the language arts.
