I hope some King and i don't even care who it is checks him THROUGH the boards.
Downie is a disgrace for every hockey player in the NHL.
He just put the icing on the cake with his fake falling head-first into the boards in the game against Pittsburgh. In comparison to Downey Avery is a class act on the ice.
Downie doesn't deserve to be where he is at right now with the Flyers after what he did with McAmmond. I got no respect for players like that after the inncident he did that game. He is a punk who is nothing more than just a waste of space in the NHL. So for what JMFJ did to his ass in the minors, I'm sure Downie desrved every bit of it. I don't think it is that big of deal with what JMFJ did to him. But if Downie wants to make something of it, then I hope JMFJ teaches his ass a lesson to be learned.

Actually, this was at the World Juniors Tourney a couple of years ago. There is no love-lost for JMFJ in Vancouver because of it. Pay attention each time he has the puck playing against Vancouver there, or, if the stars align, how he's treated in the 2010 Olympics.
Look closely at the video, if JMFJ REALLY elbowed Downey his head would have snapped back (some would say in half ). This was merely a glancing blow if he touched him at all. It's not real clear whether that contact even occurred but at least a little probably did. JMFJ was even quietly thanked by members of Downie's Canadian team as nobody else on that team could stand him either.
Then this crap once he get's to the show? Before the season even starts? If Downie doesn't come up with his own version of the "Philly Flu", I expect there won't be much contact between the two because of the intimidation factor. JMFJ will kill him and Downie knows it.
Call Downie what you want: punk, cheap, annoying, etc. I call him a PUSSY! (not to be confused with the term "PUSS" which fits a guy like Priessing)
