His pop on Parros was as uplifting to his team as if he scored a hat trick. Even for those that don't like fighting, you cannot tell me that the other players don't just eat that **** up! A good fight totally juices up your team.

I like this signing. I am hoping they develope him into a Darren McCarty or Martin
Lapointe type of player. A guy who can score or assist and more important protect
the young players. Which would mean we need another Enforcer. I'm not saying he will be a 20 goal scorer or 25 point player, but if he protect the players, I'm all
for it. I don't like when Kopitar, Brown, Frolov, Cammy, Sully or the up and coming
kids need to deal with the opposing team pushing them around.
I firmly believe with the kids we have, teams are gonna start running at us.
It maybe sooner than you think.

Never said he would be a scorer..hence Lapointe and McCarty, but a security with
ability. See Detroit Red wings. Maybe I should have added Gordie Howe.
