Whomever guesses correctly gets dinner AT the Fox Sports Bar (if you're from out of town... you just get to win)
The Kings have been on a roll winning 5 of their last 7
Can they continue their winning ways on the upcoming 8 game road trip?
CBGB says:
Philadelphia: Tough game but the Flyers (8-1-1 last 10) come out ahead. 0-1
I've been told that following the Philadelphia game, the Kings spend 6 days in New York City - You know what THAT means???? Hellllooooooo Scores!
Islanders: The Kings have a chance here 1-1
Devils: The Kings don't score against Brodeur 1-2
Rangers: Too much partying: Kings score 1 goal and lose 1-3
Detroit: Oh, please 1-4
Pittsburgh: a 10:00 game? Nope 1-5
Columbus: Back-to-Back and we NEVER play well in CBJ 1-6
St Louis: They hate Andy Murray and we win this one 2-6
If you're a betting man, bet HEAVILY against the Kings when they return against Calgary. After an 8 game, 16 day road trip, there is no way in hell they even come CLOSE to competing against the Flames (who will have had 2 days off)
Your turn:
Tie-breaker: How many goals do the Kings score TOTAL during the 8 game trip?
CBGB says: 18

Philly: Loss. The Broad St. Bullies run up the score. JLB gets yanked; Aubin sees first action in weeks.
NYI: Loss to DiPietro and his "bum hip." In OT or a shootout.
NJ: Loss even though the Devils play the night before. I could be wrong, but I believe that Marty B usually does well in game two of back-to-back games.
NYR: Win. Somehow, the Kings score 3+ on King Henrik.
Detroit: Hahaha.
Pit: Win. Two of the youngest teams in the league go head-to-head with the Kings beating a Crosby-less Penguins.
CBJ: Loss. Hitchy plays Norrena and the Kings score 2 or less.
St.L: Loss. Kings can't muster a victory against former coach.
Final record: 2-5-1
25 goals for.

Reason: Spacing and added GF total.
