They've lost Boucher.

Zubov has been hurt.

Their recent 2-6-1 skid puts them just 5 points ahead of 9th place St Louis and Columbus.

Wouldn't it be just wonderful if they have an all out collapse and the Kings wind up with the 8th or 9th pick in a very beautiful draft?

It's time for Turco and Smith to be hurt - lets see how THEY do with guys equivalent to Fukufuji and Brust.

It would be wonderful to attend a Kings draft party and see possibly a #3 overall pick, a #8 overall pick and sayyyy a #26 overall pick.

Or.. a #8 overall pick and send the others for a strong NHL defenseman. Oh yes.

No way Dallas can hold off San Jose and Anaheim in the Pacific. That just leaves Calgary, Colorado, and St. Louis to pass them and they are out of the playoffs. Dallas is going to be scrapping for the #8 seed come March and April.
