Usually, if the upper deck is full you can tell it's a sell out. Tonight the upper deck wasn't even half full. I think they did some creative accounting tonight...
I don't remember seeing that many Calgary fans at staples center before last night .
Maybe they all got a fire to come down since the Canuck buck is on par or better against the USD.
It also helps that it's probably like 25F there during the day.
Anyways it seemed like there whole rows/blocks of rows with red shirts
This Calgary guy outside of the building last night was 'retaliating' to someone who said his team sucks. He's like "Oh yeah well we're in the playoffs". I chumuckled.
Now that I think about it... I could see why the Flames fans weren't afraid to come to our building. We hadn't beaten them since 2006, they were most likely expecting an easy win as well.
Good thing the Kings destroyed them. As long as we win like that, eventually... they'll know better than to show up.
8-2 Buffalo. 9-2 Chicago. 5-2 Toronto. I'd love to see those fans back go back in whatever hole they came out from.
