i know it's just a draft ranking, and not the actual order that all gm's will follow. However, if we do end up with the #2 pick, and atlanta has the # 3 pick we should def try to swing something with them.
i could see atlanta being interested in another elite russian to play along with kovy.
--another smallish winger is the last thing we want.
if we end up with the # 2 pick, i would love to see us swing it for say exelby and their pick.
i also found it interesting that bogosian is ranked behind schenn now too.

Being that Bogosian isn't likely to move down far enough to reasonably expect DL to use the Dallas pick and a combo of lower picks to move up and grab him, I'd be happy with this scenario:
Stamkos #1 and package a lower pick along with Dallas' 1st to get ColtonTeubert at around #17. A 6'3" shut-down (hopefully) defenseman.
True, but i'd still take Kyle Beach over him....but then again I didn't think Filitov would be ranked #2....
Hmmmm, I still like Beach, probably more than any of the other draftniks on the board(see KPs prospect thread) but his stock has been dropping like a hot rock(justifiably). Very little production in the second half of the season, awful playoff performance, and injury/character questions. Basically the definition of a high risk/high reward prospect.

could end up being another cheraponov situation.
i just feel that atl would be more likely to target filatov bc they may have a better chance of getting him over here to play with his countryman. just my opinion though

I would take Bogosian over him in a heartbeat.
he's doing that poorly now? hmmm well i knew about the character questions, I just felt he coulda made an immediate impact. do you think bogosian would be slated right in the mix?

yeah so it seems to be the case, which is why it surprised me that he was ranked so high, well certainly his skills justify it but again with the cheraponov situation i thought would have hurt his position.
Could someone put a list of where each team would draft at this point, please? I would like to compare where players are slotted to go as to which teams picks. Thanks
