Here is some inspiration for all Kings fans:

The Philadelphia Flyers have just surpassed their point total all of last season. Last season they were dead last in the league with 56 points. This year, they are tops in their division with 57 points.

This is beginning to sound like our season. Dead last in the league. I wonder how good we can be next year? I can't wait to find out. Just tank the rest of the season and bring up the kids like they do every September in baseball. This season is officially over.

Although I'm not overly optimistic about next season, you COULD say the same about this years Kings team. On paper the team should be much better. I don't think a single analyst or whoever picked the team to finish worse than they did last season. Many even picked them to at least contend for a playoff spot.

They were ass horrible last year...REALLY bad...much like the Kings..

Their turnaround is basically on the shoulders of Holmgren who completely and unequivocabley raped Nashville and then Edmonton in rapid succession.

They sucked bad...but good moves by the GM and a couple of high profile signings...

I mean imagine the impact the above dudes would have on the Kings

I bet on the Kings to win the cup in Vegas at the beginning of the season. The odds were 65 to 1. I also bet 20 bucks on the Flyers at 85 to 1 odds. I would be a very happy camper if they could pull it out!

Flyers had alot more assets to trade.Forsberg alone got them Parent,Hartnell,Timonen,Upshall and a 3rd.
