About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Lots of interesting scoop on our prospects, in two parts:

Coach Morris even has something nice to say about Lauri Tukonen.
He covers nearly every prospect of interest.

Great read! It'd be hard to say that all (Boyle, Mouslon, Purcell, Tukonen, Lewis, & Cliche) these young prospects will make it to the NHL, but it sounds really promising for each one.
Morris: [Lombardi] seemed quite happy with the compete-level of the team and we managed to get seven out of eight points when he was here. He spent some time picking our brains about various things about the team, and asking questions about why we did certain things certain ways. I think he gained an appreciation for what is going on down here. I think he has a greater appreciation for the challenges that we face and he saw it on a day-to-day basis.

PURCELL 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tukonen getting an "A" is probably the most shocking thing I read.
I'm pretty sure dano and most every other Monarch season ticket holder have already washed their hands of DL. Looking at it from their perspective, I can't say I blame them.
I would say for Ted Purcell, his offensive instincts are exceptional and he sees things that most players and coaches don’t see, so he has a knack for being creative. We are still working on fore-checking and his back-checking and his defensive play and once he masters that end of the game and realizes the importance of it he should be a factor. He still has to put some bulk on him because he’s still a thin kid, so he’s going to have to put in some hard work in the weight room.
Someone needs to hang out with JMFJ this summer. He really does appear to need to work on the upper body.
Tukonen has certainly picked up his game, and I'm glad Morris has recognized it. Lauri is a very nice kid, and seemingly well liked in the locker room.
