Further proof that Bruce McNall was a kick ass GM. We need another GM that is wants this team to win enough that he is willing to break the law to get us a good team.

Doughty is a little girly-man compared to PIETRANGELO.

Pietrangelo is much bigger and has very nearly as much offensive talent as Doughty.

My dream draft is STAMKOS/PIETRANGELO

We don't need Doughty, since we already have Hickey.

I believe the 213 lbs weight Doughty is sometimes listed at, is erroneous.

I've read he is actually around 190 lbs--Closer to Hickey-size.

I think the reality has set in and its time to face the music.
We would not take Stamkos even if we had #1 or get #1. If we get him we may trade Stamkos for another very high pick to another team at the draft for a D man.

Doughty is going to be a king and I would not be surprised if we are able to somehow pick up Zack Bogesian or Luke Schenn. If we get top prospect D men we have Blake to train them we can dish Cammy for another decent experienced D man, I don't see cammy in next years picture. Be nice to get a real bruiser Ivanans just doesnt cut it. Mark my words, we make take Stamkos but it will only be as big time trade bait. Maybe Stamkos, Cammy and a pick for Malkin :O I can dream haha.
