that's disappointing. i know we on LGK have a short memory and are willing to turn on anybody in a second, but if even the team does not like him, then that's not a good sign.
He's getting crushed here because he's being a wuss and not sucking it up and playing with a "Rib Injury" while his younger squadmates are going out and stepping it up and playing hard.
BTW, we don't need him anymore. He's an asset that can be traded, because there are younger players that are filling the hole he created by being a pussy.

LOL,
What the heck did Cammy do to all of you people? It's as if the guy egged your house or something.
The guy is a genuine sniper, plays with heart and all of you speculate as to what his condition is and call him a pussy. Everyone's a friggin M.D. all of a sudden and are able to comment on Cammy's injury as if they've had a chance to examine it themselves?
As some have already pointed out, how do we know that it's ONLY a rib injury?
Also, isn't it possible that a rib injury is worse for a forward than it is for a goaltender?
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, the point is none of us have all the facts and to suggest that this somehow amounts to the guy being nothing but a pussy b/c he's always made contract negotiations difficult is ridiculous.
Finally, lets say he's play with the injury. A lot of good that is going to do. He gets paid to score and having him out there in gimp mode will amount to nothing more than having a body on the ice.
If you want to be upset w/ anyone it should be w/ the front office for not picking up more solid defensemen to step in for our skilled forwards.
The word I got today let me know that the players feel like Cammi's all about Mike and only in it for himself ($$$).
They also pretty much all hate Crow as well.
Just reporting what I heard.
So I'll get flamed cuz I don't exactly want to explain how I got this - and I am again pointing out that its what I was told.
1) Could you also elaborate on how many Sierra Mists you received from the Kings' organization while you were doing your investigative reporting?
2) If Cammalleri was healthy and potting goals, this kind of thread never gets started. It's simply piling on a guy when he's unable to answer; i.e. unable to perform on the ice. This is a B.S. rumour intended to kick a guy when he's down -- there isn't anything more bush-league or cowardly than that.
3) As long as they continue to beat themselves on the ice and continue to sport the league's worst record, I couldn't give half a damn if the Kings' players don't like each other, or the coach. So they don't hold hands and watch The View after the morning skate -- that's mildly interesting. I'm glad they're not happy about some things, because a lot of the team's fans (including myself) are not happy at all with them.
4) Could you tell me when Allison and Deadmarsh are coming back?
I truly hope the guy comes back and scores 10 in 10 for the second time this season.
I understand wanting to trade him but questioning his heart, of any of the players on this roster, is crazy.
Let's hear it for the Anti-anti-Cammalleri movement!
Concur.
While I am certainly an advocate of trading Cammalleri if the return is right, I am not into bashing him for his heart. The guy plays with a fire in his gut and hustles, so no problem there.
BTW, I am also an advocate of keeping Cammalleri if the hole of a young, top 4 defenseman can be filled in another way and Cammalleri is willing to sign a reasonable Dustin Brown type extension.
I'm hearing that Cammi's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Cammi pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

I got it from a player that got it from some of the Kings players.
But while I can't say I would be all that much surprised it is interesting that many here think of Mike as a "Leader".
If this info I was given is true, I don't think Mike would have all that many of his mates following much of what he think the Kings should be doing.
Not doubting your info, but isn't he listed as an alternate? Teams always put C's and A's on the ones they hate the most.
Look...
Have you ever played hockey? I have and NEVER in my 30+ years from midget to college to senior I have never been in 1 locker room where all 20+ guys liked each other. FU** you can't get 3 people to agree on the color of SH**, let alone 25. So guys not liking each other isn't new.
This is no big deal, Gretzky hated Duschene, but still went to his parties. And Steve still invited Gretzky after his kids spilled red wine on Steve's beautiful white shag carpet. Gretzky wanted Steve gone because he thought he was bad luck, not because he didn't like him. Gretzky and Taylor played together, but were far from friends, so what.
I'm sure there are people you don't like at your work. Should they be fired because you don't like them, get a grip.
It's not about being buddy, buddy after work. It's about being a team and working together in practice and games.
The sooner you folks stop piling on Cammi, speculating what is wrong and looking for any BS reason to get him traded the better.
Just let it play out and worry about something you can control like talking out your A**.
