Who gets traded from the NHL club? There aren't any holes up front on the Top 6 at the moment outside of 2nd line center (Kopitar/Brown/O'Sullivan/Frolov/Cammalleri) and you have to think that Purcell is slated there, so who gets moved for a defenseman?
Squid is moved. The way he struggled down the stretch to get to 20 and being out of the lineup in the last half of the year is why I think they may look at moving him. Not to mention how O'Sullivan played/meshed with the first unit. Plus Sully is RFA and will be in for a big payday and he may get it.
I just think they look long and hard at offering Cammy up with on of the 2nd rounders for a defensive defenseman who is coming into his prime and a return pick for 2009. My dream would be Gleason but that won't happen. How about Ryan O'Byrne off the Canadaiens? Or Aaron Johnson off the Isles? Or Dan Giradi off the Rags? Or Matt Carkner from the Sens? I really think this is the kind of player we will get in return. I want Mark Staal just like the next guy but we won't get him or Gleason for Cammy. Ryan Parent would be a dream as well but he is untouchable IMHO now.
I also think the Kings make a hard run at Mike Commodore as a UFA in the off season.

Willsie, Nagy, Thornton and Cammi will be gone up front. Dallman is out on D, and Preising is not that far from being gone. i thought he was unimpressive most of the season.
Moulson and Piskula or Petiot probably gets some call ups. We're not making the playoffs. I can promise you that.
This idea of moving Handzus or Pressing is not gonna happen. We'll see what happens with Cammy, his stock went down big time this year, and even if he has a huge head, he must realize it too. Lubo better bounce back BIG time next year or that contract is going to look like a complete aberration.

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of seeing Army as the 2nd line center. It has been 3 yrs now and its time to make a significant change at that position.

right there by your saying Army should be on the 2nd unit, you should be having your head checked.
