How many are happy today that the Kings won that meaningless game against San Jose?

Are you happy the Kings didn't tank and we miss out on drafting the franchise player?

I don't know about you, but I cannot, CANNOT get excited about forking over $$$$ for season tickets to watch Bogosian or Doughty.

I just can't.

I'll go. I love hockey.

But Stamkos being in the shadow of Lecavalier?

I loved his quite "nothing is set in stone" and hopefully he pulls an Eli Manning (not that Tamps would even trade the #1 pick to the Kings)

Today was an absolutely depressing day in Kings history.

CBGB SHUT UP! We all knew you would cry about something today:

A) If we finished 30th and wound up with the 2nd pick
B) If we finished 30th or 29th and picked 2nd or 3rd

No matter what this franchise does you're never happy. Get over it...the Kings will deal with the hand they were dealt and lets all hope for the best! We all know the Kings need more help on defense than up front so maybe it's a blessing in disguise. GO KINGS GO!

It really ****ing pisses me off how cursed this franchise is. Son of a ****ing bitch it really does suck.

Tampa has gotten the #1 overall pick twice. And they've won a Cup. The Kings have neither.

The hockey gods hate us.

I'm trying to be positive here.

We could've won, yes, but teams 3-6 could've won, and we'd be picking 3rd.

At least an Eastern Conference team won, so we won't have to deal with Stamkos more than 2 times a year (excluding playoffs).

Our true need is on defense. We had no problem scoring goals. It was keeping the puck out of the net that was the issue.

Cheer up, CBGB. I know it's hard not to be disappointed, but I think it'll be more than okay in the long run.
