For a team that scores so much why is it we lost all those 2-1, 3-2 games in December? We stiil need a franchise center with speed, to help us control the puck, clear the zone and put the fear of God in the other team's defence/
Today was another dark day in Kings history...
Dear lord! What the heck?!?? Do you think defenses around the league breathe a sigh of relief when Kopitar has the puck?

Amen to that....DL is dancing in his office right now! Now he can go to work trying to get the Kings at least two strong D-man! One is not enough this time, we need D, that should be the only thing we talk about until the draft.
i'm still happy. we are going to have the first pick among 3 franchise defenseman. tampa is such a screwed up organization that they'll figure out a way to screw up stamkos.
I am actually quite happy that the Kings beat San Jose last week. I don't get to see too many Kings games live (living in SD), so when I drive up to LA, I want them to ****ing win.
I have nothing but props for CBGB most of the time, but defense wins Cups. I'll take what we've got up front and have two marquis defensemen any day of the week. JMFJ and Doughty? Schenn (sp)? Yes, Stamkos would be the "Hey, we're the west-coast Penguins!" draft pick, but in the end give me D. Last I checked we were at the bottom on GA's.
Now, let me go lite the incense around my Kopitar shrine...
Guys, be happy we didn't get bumped to third. Plus with our current lineup, we need defense way more than offense because lord knows the team can score, but they just can't keep the puck out of their own net. Oh well, we didn't get first, we're going to get a great mean defenseman we're in need of and we didn't get bumped to 3rd.
I think CBGB is just pissing because he spent all that cash on a Stamkos jersey.
I think it is a blessing in diguise. Defense wins championships, and the Kings have NEVER had top notch defense/goaltending. Anaheim finished 4th this year AND were shut out 10 times. The Kings need D and goaltending much more than a goal scorer.The offense is already good enough, the D/goaltending isnt.
Look at the bright side. If there is anything to b**** about it is going to be the Kings goaltending next year. Labarbera is not the answer.
It's your own fault for wearing that STAMKOS jersey you idiot. Point the finger at yourself.
Do you really think the guys on the team give a crap about getting the number 1 pick ? These guys are paid to win , not tank.
We could have finished dead last by 50 points, and guess what, we'd still have lost the draft and picked 2nd. It just our luck and you know it's a fact.
