Personally, I couldn't care less about in-game updates. They are not necessary. As long as player/coach/management interviews keep coming, I'll be happy.

It's not just the updates, in general i miss Rich, not saying Matts not doing a fine job with the interviews.

This is true. It was really a waste of time for him to do that over there. Usually only a couple people responded to them when he was doing it.
I think Matt is doing just fine. Give the guy a break; he's new at this.

I want Matt to make me some chicken-coconut soup.

He's not quite as good as Rich for this 1 reason:

Rich would post about the games, AND give me a bowl of chicken-coconut soup.
And we've never even met.
(and somehow he sent it right thru the computer too!)

So, if Matt just adds some Tom Ka Kai to his offerings, he will be as good as Rich.

Once they took Hammond's bio down from the blog I unbookmarked the site. Kredell, like almost everyone newspapers in LA have assigned to the Kings over the years, just isn't worth reading. A good chuck of people on this board have better insight & understanding of the Kings & the game in general.
